Ask them if we can sue content providers who won't give up-to-date 2257 info to a purchaser. And what about the responsibility of a content provider who no longer sells? (Afterall they still are required to keep their copies of all records for 10 years.)

Seriously. Would like to hear one of the lawyers give us our full options.

(Btw, no this hasn't happened to me. Just want to be ready when it does.)

It's actually against the law now for a content producer to not give the documents out. However it's not against the law for the producer to stop a sponsor from giving out documents.

But anyone who bought content without 2257 documentation will get little sympathy from me. Sorry to harsh but the buying motives of some with content, they deserve to have to delete it.

So many were buying on price from anyone who was offering a deal, they forced the prices down to a level where it became unprofitable, they bought from people who frankly were not the most straight of people. All this to drive down the prices of the one product we sell PORN.

Now these buyers are moaning because the guy has not got 2257 compliant paperwork, gone out of business or simply can't be found.

And even now I'm being told XZY in Russia will do it cheaper, so why won't I drop my price? Go buy from him and see what it get's you.

2257 is the shit hitting the fan, some are standing in front of it naked and some are standing their in a raincoat with an umbrella. That protection was paid for.

For what it's worth, Paul, I'm talking about people who bought content that was compliant to the old rules, but is lacking under the new rules.

That is a huge difference from what you are saying, which is people having bought content previously that had no 2257 work attached.
