I lost...I thought they'd dead lock....

i think there are 10 counts. can a jury deadlock if there are many counts and are stuck only on one or more?

it sounded like they had a lot to digest with 98 pages of instructions from the judge before they went to deliberate.

Fucking brutal.... Innocent on all counts

The only thing brutal about it is that the jury handed the prosecutor his hat - after they shoved it up his ass. You couldn't have presented this case to an all-white jury in Philadelphia, Mississippi, up against a drunken public defender and gotten a conviction.

This case will be taught in law schools for years as the primary example of what happens when when a prosecutor goes gets so wrapped up in accomplishing a mission that he/she loses all sense of perspective.

This doesn't mean that I think he isn't a perv - just means that only an idiot would have chosen to prosecute a high-profile case like this with the mother and child this one was based on.

I have to agree with PD on this.

The prosecution did a shit job they were so blinded by getting a 'result' that they didnt spend enough time putting their case forward, the fact Jackson didnt take the stand should have been ammo enough especially after being told he WOULD take the stand at the outset.

But anyway, another month of this debacle to go before the media moves on to the next 'big story' which will probably be something about Osama's Bin Hiding to long.

PD is correct. Sneddon is an idiot. There is no doubt Jackson has issues, and is probably guilty of many things - but there was no way the evidence was beyond a reasonable doubt. The accusers family is a walking talking bag of reasonable doubt.

Hopefully Sneddon is shamed out of office for wasting so much time and money of his constituants.

Michael should head to Europe and avoid the US for awhile.

Do you know why Michael Jackson likes twenty eight year olds?

because there is twenty of them.

If I ever have to stand trial for anything, I want to insist the venue be changed to southern california.

Good.

Like others have said, I'm sure he has been up to some nasty shit, but none of that was proven in this trial. I don't think there was enough solid evidence to send him to jail on so IMO the jury did the right thing. The prosecuter should have known better than to waste all this public money on such a weak case.

Now watch the marketing machine go into motion, I bet for the next month or so you wont be able to turn on the tv without seeing a Michael Jackson documentary or video clip or turn on the radio without hearing a Michael Jackson song ;-)
