Looking for an easy way to protest Bush foreign policy week after week? And an easy way to help alleviate global poverty? Buy your gasoline at Citgo stations.

EC, you are an idiot....
Chavez is the best friend of Fidel Castro, oil revenues dry up, he doesn't invest in infrastructure of Venesuella, the up coming generations will suck dick for breakfast, due to this wise president.

I agree completely Mike.

Quick question... why is Porter Goss now excluded from National Security Council meetings in favor of John Negroponte?

White House wonders never cease.

Good job. I will no longer buy gas from Citgo.

I buy mine from the Brits anyway (BP).

Sigh.

Chavez is every bit as much a cocksucker as Bush.

You can admire him for standing up to Bush - that has been known to have a negative impact on the life expectancy or the living arrangements of South American leaders - but that doesn't automatically translate into wanting to offer him any support whatsoever.

I've been to Caracas , and EC , it is a total shithole.

Coming in from the port to downtown Caracas you drive in a valley with shanty towns on one side with excrement rolling down the side of the hill.

The entire hillside comprises tin walled and cardboard "homes".

Right nearby there is a couple of high rise appt blocks which cost all the money.

What politicians say and what they do are not necessarily the same thing lol

Can I say I have also been to Lagos ,Nigeria for example and some other reputed "shitholes" and IMHO Caracas is the worse.

I'm just saying... buy PEI potatos and not Idaho potatos. (simply to illustrate the example, I'm sure Idaho spuds are delicious) B)

Chris, I am just shocked how ignorant you are. I wonder if you are a typical Canadian?

Chris please thank all your neighbors and family for being Canadian!! ( I could not imagine the world WE would live in if our Northern neighbors were Mexico, Pakistan, full of Palistinians, or some other 3rd world country) It is nice to have a nuetered neighbor.

So please remember anytime I criticize Canada, its just words. I am happy we have Canada as Northern Neighbor, they are the perfect neighbor for being a super power. If only Mexico could be as orderly.

Oh and hey... your sheep-like political ideals aren't your fault. It's most likely your red-state upbringing that brought you where you are today. You know, it's better if the masses eyes are kept closed to most things going on in the government. It's all for your own protection right?

Oprano is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the Michael Jackson trial, all the while the real headlines of the day should be the Downing Street Memo.

Chris, I know it much be a huge burden to be so clear thinking and knowledgable. Thanks for sharing your insightful brilliance. It must be difficult for you and your family handle such a burden.

I will try and contemplate your burden while I enjoy cocktails at my new dock as I watch the sunset this evening. Sometimes being an ignorant, know-nothing, brain washed red-stater does have its advantages.

HAHA Class warfare on Oprano.

It's ok PD, one day we will all live in a "workers paridise".

The ironic thing is I have been spending the past year selling most of my assets. If I am going to make my retirement last, I cannot be spending money like a porn slinger. I don't want to have to get a part time job as a Walmart greeter when I am 65.

When can I start collecting social security?

CITGO is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the national oil company of Venezuela, so naturally most of its crude oil comes from there. However, in February 2002 CITGO also imported from Middle Eastern countries in the following quantities:

Iraq: 1,342,000 barrels
Kuwait: 437,000 barrels
