I heard a rumor that Orange and some of the other large cell phone service providers are starting to use tv applications so this could be a good domain to hold on to :)

Internet domains for services like these are pretty useless as they will be distributed through operater channels, launched by clicking icons right on the phone's desktop.

And as this will be a broadcast service it won't be accessed through a WAP or WWW browser, like you would access video feeds on the Internet.

It would make sense to download from the net via a premium service, such as a site that holds tv programs/shows, then transfer them to your phone via the cable, as costs may be prohibitive at present.

I don't think it will involve downloadable clips on demand but rather scheduled broadcasted television over the airwaves, like you are now familiar with on a TV set with an antenna.
