Site seems to be outdated, imho.

However, that's not necesarily a bad thing. We had some of the oldest looking sites back in the day for Nick's Clicks and they bought memberships.

Nick used to have his tweak the back end almost daily to keep the retention. That was key. What good was doing 300 sign ups a day, if you only had 10 percent retention.

Exactly. It all comes down to whether it converts and retains. That's the bottom line. FAR too many webmasters think only slick extremely graphic heavy tours convert and that is so far from the truth it's not even funny.

very true, retention is key... we LOCK-IN customer retention :wnw:
with customer support and freqent updates.
