Your segpay spam in the other thread here:

http://www.oprano.com/msgboard/index.php?s...pic=18800&st=40 (http://www.oprano.com/msgboard/index.php?showtopic=18800&st=40)

Got me looking , cause it smelt bad.

I found this...

http://web.archive.org/web/20030618214055/...m/frameset6.htm (http://web.archive.org/web/20030618214055/www.toccata.com/frameset6.htm)

And this....

http://www.smutpeddlerblog.com/archives/00000070.htm

Which says...

Below you will see how Segpay has the same address/location as Ibill, and how the CEO of segpay (chris williams) is also the domain registrant of inteca, their "trusted 3rd party" (they promote that their payments are safe because "Segregated Payments partners with Inteca to move your money directly from the acquiring bank into a segregated account where your funds are physically held until paid out to you. This means that those funds are not being 'borrowed' to pay other clients or used in any way.")

Segway = Toccata
Toccata Ltd is a U.K. financial services company formed in 1999 to provide currency exchange products to ecommerce merchants. ( http://segpay.com/about.htm)

Address of Toccata:
TOCCATA, Inc.
2200 SW 10th St.
Deerfield Beach, FL 33442
(http://web.archive.org/web/20030618...m/frameset6.htm )

Address of Ibill:
C. iBill allows you to access to certain information about you for the limited purpose of viewing, updating, and in some instances deleting from our system any information deemed inaccurate. Any requests to access your information may be directed to: privacy@ibill.com, Office of the General Counsel, Internet Billing Company, Ltd., 2200 SW 10th Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442-7622, Fax. 954.363.4401, and Tel. 954.363.4400 .(http://www.ibill.com/about/privacy.cfm)

Chris Williams is CEO of Toccata/segpay (http://www.internetnews.com/ec-news/article.php/28681 ) and toccata.com is registered in his name. Chris Williams is also the registrant of inteca.org, now the "3rd party trustee" for ibill/segpay and inteca.org and toccata.com go to the same IP:

Toccata = Inteca (same ip address)
Tracing route to inteca.org [209.61.190.42]
Tracing route to toccata.com [209.61.190.42]

Then the fact that you claim

http://www.inteca.org/0_about.htm

Is your Third Party Auditor....

Well I say to all of Oprano...

DO NOT TOUCH IT!!!

Thanks :)

Would that allow people another avenue to try and get back lost income should that site have some decent cash behind it?

Edited to add - I'd be very surprised to see anyone get any past renumeration owed to them by Ibill. Remember the Web 900 billing that was never paid out?

It's been unfortunate to see these guys on the boards who think that they are doing some "clever" detective work, but who don't seem to have a grasp of business realities on an international scale. SegPay has nothing to hide.

Ibill hired an auditing company, Intecca, to deal with it's banks in the EU and get the webmaster's money released when ibill went down. Chris had left ibill years ago, even before the take over of Intercept. That Chris is involved is no surprise, he has a very long history dealing with merchant banks. INTECA WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING MONEY TO WEBMASTERS THAT THEY WOULDN'T HAVE RECEIVED OTHERWISE.

SegPay has done a deal with that same company to oversee the payouts from SegPays merchant bank to it's merchants, and ensure that they are timely and accurate. Chris has a financial interest, but he is NOT in the management of SegPay, and frankly his involvment is a VERY GOOD THING.... there are few people in the world that could have negoiated the release of funds for ibill clients that Chris did, and there are few people in the world with his knowledge, contacts and expereince in the field

Are there some people that used to work for ibill working for SegPay now? Sure. They needed jobs, and they had experience in this business. You will probably see ex ibill employees popping up all over the place.

They are in no way the same owners, financial interests, etc....

I've been in the processing business for over 6 years now. I wouldn't want to work with a company if they were an ibill front. I have a long reputation and lots of friends in the business, and I have more than enough different projects going on right now that I don't need to jeopardize my long built reputation for some shenanigans involving ibill.

That's the straight story.

SegPay is a good company, with great products and great people, and a great business model. I joined them because I think that they will go far.

Things can SEEM a certain way.... that doesn't MAKE them a certain way. I don't know what to tell you. Some people will believe what they wish to believe. I'm just telling you what I know to be true.
Do people in different companies have prior history with each other? Sure, happens all the time when one is in the same industry.
Do companies sometimes make use of the same business facilities? Sure, even in a city as large as NY for example, why are all financial firms in the same buildings/streets. It doesn't mean that they are the same owners, or even connected.

All I can say is that I DO know that what I told you is the fact. If people choose to believe otherwise, there is nothing I can do about that.
In Inteca is not Ibill and Inteca is not SegPay, and SegPay is not Ibill.
I don't know how to tell you any other way! :-) .

I'll be in San Diego if you want to ask me more.... :-)

Best Regards,

Michael

Regarding your rep....

I hear things.

Like guys that chase women allnight in Southern States and get so hammered they sleep it off in the lobby because they can't afford a room in the hotel.

Now that is not a big deal for a bulk emailer , say , (in fact at one time it was positively encouraged (thoyugh they usually could afford the room, hell a floor of them) but it is a little worrying behaviour for someone representing the guys that hold your money.

Duocash was shut down by the venture capital guys in NY....who, I gathered, decided that they had to many ties with high-profile mainstream companies and didn't want even a hint of any sort of scandal from "dirty" online businesses.

It's a really big shame actually, it was a great business model, and we were about to take off with big physical distribution.... they basically snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

There are several other projects going on however, one of them being SegPay, as well as some AMAZING merchant account solutions that I've been working on for the last few months.

Are you going to San Diego?

You're right! I'm busted! Totally guilty! I'm dreadfully ashamed that one night about a year and a half ago I actually partied hard.

(Your sources aren't THAT good by the way.... I had sat down on the way to my room and passed out. When the hotel staff woke me up, I went upstairs to my roon)

I realize now that no one in the financial/e-commerce world has ever done that before!
I've never seen ANYONE from a billing company party!

Heck no!

Im always interested in alternative billing projects but I eye any NEW Merchant solution carefully. It doesnt matter who they are or if they are even a sponsor. If your a scammer --- your gonna end up busted.

No. The bank holds the funds. Inteca oversees the distribution to make sure that it is timely and accurate.

OK.

Who controls , owns and operates inteca then?
Do they have auditted accounts?
Who else do they to they "" oversees the distribution to make sure that it is timely and accurate "". Is it just segpay and ibill?

Ya see , I could open say , Oprano Processing.

And then have have a "third party auditor" layered over the top making sure it " oversees the distribution to make sure that it is timely and accurate"

However that third party could be administered by Serge. (Who has no ownership, management or control position in Oprano anymore)

and it would be a similar set up.

No?

In all your promotions you are claiming the funds are secure because of the protection afforded through Inteca ,acting as "third party auditor"

Thus segpay's credibility is built on the credibility of Inteca.

But you can give no credentials for the stability , strength or good standing of the auditor.

So therefore without knowing the strength , and honesty of the third party auditor , you may as well say "Mike will decide who gets paid"

Who the fuck is that?

ahahahahhahahahahahahaahahahahah

And of course!!!!!

Its a seperate distinct entity , so you of course you have no idea how they are set up , who owns them , nor who manages.

ahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha
