In my Boss' Cadillac CTS-V. Lets just say this: its got a corvette Z06 engine in it.. 405 ponies. Definitely not your grandfather's cadillac.

The thing has oodles of torque in any gear.. pulls like crazy from 130km/h in 5th and loves to get sideways (as long as the traction control is off). Great engine note too.. good low end growl and a beautiful high-end mechanical thrashing as the needle climbs toward red-line.

I cant wait til I get to drive it next time! ;)

Eck, cars are over rated. I'd rather put my money in my retirement funds.

The torque on those Z06's is great ;)

Was my favorite part about driving that car... Man I snapped about 300 people's necks who were stupid enough to hop in the passenger seat :)

I can't keep up this facade.

New cars. That is why you must by classics.

My newer cars are for me to enjoy. My classics I see as an investment, that is why they are nurtured.

Classic cars ????

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Conv
400GT Ferrari
308 GTS Ferrari
Ferarri mondial
Bentley S2 Flying Spur (GBP 30k restoring it)
'54 Corvette (polo white and red)
and ( at the time modern cars soon to be classics)
Ayrton Sennas NSX
Porsche 911 Carerra RSR (mechanical feul injection)
Aston Martin Virage
GMC Syclone
GMC Typhoon
and a few modern Porsche 911 a C2 , a 911SC I think from memory..

All at the time considered great investments...
( must have been '93.)
And ALL sitting on my driveway.

Of course at the time when I had to sell them the classic car boom of the late 80s early 90s in the UK tanked. :(

Hell , I used to own part of a classic car garage ( it was nearly worth it to buy into it to get "traders Insurance"")

I LOVED owning them and really enjoyed them. But when I realised I had over GBP 1.5m in tin on my drive , I realised I had a "car problem" LOL

However Best thing I didn't do...
I bid USD 1m for one of the 7 RHD Ferarri Daytona spiders...the guy refused it , cause he wanted 1m Sterling.

1 year later it was for sale at USD 600k...so there is always someone worse off than yourself :)

(( trust me ,if we ever meet up I'll bore you with the photos... ))

;-)))

And he has tons of photos.

I'm still partial to the red bentley you had. I think it was a Bentley, and not a RR.

At least I was at that night. It was the same night I think I was seeing auras. :)

Nick, its time to get them back!!

Bring back your babies!! That is a hell of a collection.

The only 4 I have that are investments are the 2 Shelbys , 54 Buick convertible and 68 camaro ss convertible. I think I may sell the Buick to put my money into the existing cars.

Of course I hope some of my new cars become classics.... in another 40 years!
