HICAGO -- Authorities say an Aurora area man set his house on fire in order to get two guests at his home to leave.

Dean Craig is accused of starting his own house on fire.

The Kane County Sheriff's office says Dean Craig had demanded his guests leave but they didn't. He then threatened to light the house on fire.

Police say the 46-year-old man then poured rubbing alcohol on the floor of the home and used a lighter to ignite it.

Authorities arrived at the home Sunday morning and found it engulfed in flames.

Craig and his two guests were not injured in the fire.

Officials say Craig was being held at the county jail on a charge of arson.

I doubt it's legal to burn down a house, your own or otherwise.
