Traffic is king.

Those that have it , rule.

The Princes amongst Traffic Kings are Compliant mailers and SE specialists and domain owners.

TGP owners are mere traffic barons and are under siege. (People tell me that 2257 may kill most TGPs)

TGPs merely recirculate a ton of garbage hits.

I STILL equate TGPers to the people at the bottom of the slag heap , shifting through tons and tons of crap trying to extract the last little speck of gold before throwing the dirt away for some other poor sod to pick over.

Domain owners , SE specialists and Mailers meanwhile sit back and pull nuggets out.

SE traffic should NEVER go to a page offering FREE. It spoils them.

And anyone , anyone who trult thinks he is a SE Specialist and sends surfers to a FREE site is a fucking moron.

:)

Thks :)

Oh and blogs?????

They are ""great white hope"" way to riches.

If you can't be a SE speicalist , mailer or Domain King , and you don't know how to work TGP traffic , you will pin your hopes on the dream of kicking it in blogs.

Some very very few will make good money from blogs...most will get tons of hits but it will convert so bad that it will make TGP skim traffic look like canspam compliant targetted email.

Trev,

I fucking love how this business is going. :)

Its not the thinning of the herd.

Its a fucking cull.

The weak are gonna be massacred , and the strong will see profits that make 1999/2000 look like tough times.

Some already are. :)

The "next big thing" never came around because it had never left....
It wasn't reality sites
It isn't blogs
It isin't mobiles

Its fucking TRAFFIC!!!!

Always has been.

:)

As Serge has always said... the whole damn business is a soup. Traffic is the meat of the soup.

I have some thoughts on blogs.. what I see from my end is that people are looking at blogs in the same way as any other traffic-diverter. I think where blogs have power is when they the END and not the means to an end (a paysite). The goal should be to drive traffic from other sources TO blogs and make them the profit centre.

Jeez..... LOL

The "Soup" analagy is concerning quality of traffic in the old days.

ie if you are sending raw hits to someone on a pay per click basis , send a good soup of traffic.

Nowadays TGP skim would be the water for the soup and the meat would be SE traffic , say.

You MUST pay attention....LOL

I agree with that.

Blog type tours?

The "blog" phenomena does need exploring , no doubt.

But only I believe as an aside...
