...that's easy to install, preferrably php/mysql, has a nice admin interface and ... oh did I mention free?

btw...I have used bmachine before and it was ok but was a little buggy so that's why I am in search of a new one. I don't want to use it again.

As a blog I would join all the WordPress people, it is Great!!! Installation is a breeze, operation is even easier. Ton's of available free Themes. Highly recommended.

However, for more of a community based blog, that is, if you want to allow users to post as well as interact, Drupal.org is better for that purpose.

I agree with you about Drupal, but for a standard blogger type of setup with people just setting up thier own blogs I think pLog blows it away :)
