Well, all of the networks except FOX have announced their new lineups with new shows and current shows they are dropping. Anybody see any favorites of theirs get the axe? ABC is cancelling Blind Justice, which is a show I enjoy quite a bit, and I'm REALLY annoyed that CBS decided to axe Joan of Arcadia which was easily one of my favorite shows and was pumped for next season with the introduction of an evil character for Joan to play off of.

I haven't gotten into a half hour comedy series in years. I used to love Frasier, Cheers, The Cosby Show, and a few others but there hasn't been a good one in years.

I must confess to have caught a number of "Judging Amy" episodes in reruns.
The last network sitcom I bothered to watch in "real time" was Frazier. This year I watched NYPD Blue on network television, and that was about it. Lost interest in ER and Third Watch early last season.
Any truth to the rumor that USA will pick up the option for "Law And Order - Enterprise CSI"?

Extreme Makeover is being cancelled.
I have to admit I really got into Blind Justice.... now that was a mid-season show... I heard that they might bring it back post-NFL season.... hope it's true.

That woulkd be cool. I really like the show. Pisses me off that Joan got cancelled cause any other network would have kept it around with the numbers it was getting. Not to mention they kept other less well performing shows around instead.

Only thing I watch on the big 3 with any regularity is The Simpsons.
I was annoyed, but not surprised, to see HBO did not pick up Carnivale.

Yup, ratings just weren't there. It had a small steady following watching every week, but failed to gain any new audience this season. So they killed it.
I haven't heard for sure about The Wire, but likely the same fate. Both of those are shows that you cant just jump into, so it's hard for them to build a large audience. We live in a world full of people with ever shortening attention spans.
