Computer users are being warned to update their anti-virus software and to not open suspicious e-mails with a new attack by a variant of the "Sober" e-mail worm.
Computers infected with the Sober worm are turned into e-mail spreaders, sending out the German- and English-language e-mails that link to neo-Nazi websites and contain messages such as "60 Years of Freedom: Who's Celebrating?" and "Honorable Action" linking to the NPD, Germany's right-wing nationalist political party.
The latest variant of the worm, Sober-Q, not only turns infected computers into spam machines but downloads updates of the virus.
