Bullshit, a refresh makes a request for the image and the server will 304 the image, the hit still gets recorded. So, including the refreshes there have been 64 hits to the thread during the time period recorded. You report 164 threadviews. Another glitch in vbulletin software ?

First of all I said I had several IP Blocks available, never said I owned all of them. I have 5 ips for my home office set up. I have another 512 (2 c class blocks) available here. We have these blocks because we own several T1 lines that we use for web hosting.

Imagine that, a webmaster has access to ip blocks.

For your information any of the programs out there probably have at least a block of 254 addresses available to them.

So, according to you, any programs that have a professional set up are scammers now ?

Nopers Mr. warren. I expose scammers when I can, not just for the drama , although that part is fun I have to admit, but for protection of friends and family.

I have gone out of my way to pay it forward in this industry. I have set newbs up with hosting, I have lent domains, I have lent money, I have lent programming time. All in an effort to help get people started on the right path, a path I am not very far down my self for that matter.

I think his scam has changed.
I believe it started to scam advertisers into advertising on SC. Now that he has lost every one of them, I think it is just trying to get people to think more of him than he really is. During the radio interview I asked him why he claimed to be number 2 after GFY. He said everyone likes to exaggerate.

He asked Boardtracker to stop tracking SC when they stopped counting non business threads. He saw SC dropping like a stone. But, of course he blamed Boardtracker for being in our pockets.

Sorry to sound neg on my first post here, but I have been lurking for quite a while, so my opinion is not based on any one particular post/thread or poster.

So, where are the business threads ? Where are the seasoned veterans helping out the noobs (other than the worship...err..I mean ask FM room) ?

I think there may be a problem with your view counts Butcher. I did a sort on views (looking to read some of the earlier posts) It showed the top viewed thread had only 146 replies but had 42,841 views ?

I went dayum.... But the more I thought about what I know about the boards made me think that that sounds really high. So, I went to a couple of other boards and checked what kind of views they get. On one of them (I know, no names), probably the busiest board in our community, the top thread also had about 42,000 views, but it had over 11000 replies and had been up since May of '03. One another one, probably the second or third busiest, the top had about 8,000 views with 746 replies.

So, it looks to me that your view counter is not working properly (I hate when software screws up, like when server times don't synch with real time)

Anyway, I thought I would mention it. Always trying to be helpful :)

Which means that googlebot and inktomisearch and msnbot probably can't see it either.

Too funny. The guy has pulled his head into his shell, good for him. He and his sheep can sit there and have their discussions on all the "new" (read as invented between 1994 and 1996) tricks there are to the adult internet,

If the sheep aren't smart enough by now to know that this guy is not above board, well then fuck them.

Not sure what spooked him though, maybe some one posted a Pearl or something :blink:

You guys must have missed the big announcement several months back when Monica Lewinski was going to be there. But of course her PR guy couldn't get online so they had to postpone it :) It looks as if it was postponed forever.
