This is my 5th spring here in this house. Every year I've remarked that my rhododendrons never bloom. The whole front of the house is planted with several bushes but I've never had one single flower. Not sure if the deer ate them or they weren't mature enough or what.

Today they started blooming many beautiful purple flowers, one of my favorite colors. I never even knew what color they were since they were planted before I moved here.

Coincidence? I'd like to think not.

Absolutely not a coincidence...my mom dug up a amaryllis from her mom's house after she passed and it has bloomed every year right around Mother's Day:)
