We went to Florida to visit my folks for Passover this weekend. Kevin's future step-mother is a flight attendent for Delta so she got us buddy passes. The tickets only cost us $50 each, which was great, BUT (you knew that was coming), we had to fly standby. Now, the Naples airport is very small and only accomodates puddle jumpers, not big jets. Getting in was no problem, geting home was impossible. There were no seats on any of the flights leaving Monday, so we were tenetively booked for Tuesday morning. It seems that when the weather is bad, the planes need to carry more fuel and if the weight of the plane is too much, they start bumping passengers.
We got to the airport at 9am and weren't able to get on a flight until 7PM. We spent most of the time drinking at the bar and playing video games.
But we finally got home.
So what did I miss that's new and exciting?
