A little known fact outside of Missouri. Every now and agin, usually around an election time, a debate breaks out round these parts over whether the correct pronunciation of our states name is "Missouree'" or "Missourah" with the city slickers usually siding on the 'ee' side and the country bumpkins usually siding on the 'ah' side. It is all very exciting and is quite effective in removing our attention as our proud state representatives rape our asses.
