Monday Night Football moving to cable ...

NEW YORK (AP) -- Monday Night Football, a television institution that over 35 years has helped transform the NFL into a prime-time ratings draw, is leaving ABC and moving to ESPN beginning with the 2006 season.

That sucks for those who don't have cable...I'd prefer ABC Monday night football...I like ESPN Sport Center and ESPN NFL Sunday Night Football.

NBC will be broadcasting the Sunday night games (they signed a six-year deal that includes 3 preseason games, 17 regular-season games, and two wildcard playoff games), so there is no net loss of "free" games.

Both new contracts go into effect in 2006, so next season will still have Sunday nights on ESPN, Monday nights on ABC.

Basically the game it appears to be..

Right you guys go get some real big black guys and we wil go get some.

Lets then get them to wear tights and padding and make them play the girls version of Rugby.

Oh and lets call the final game "The Super bowl" and declare them the world champions , ignoring the fact we are the only nation the plays it.

hmmmm I'm noticing a pattern with American sports here...

Basketball - lets get some really big black guys and make them wear shorts , then we will make them play that girls game "netball".

I've met Joe Theismann and he's a major league asshole. Can't stand Paul Maguire's announcing either. IIf I watch when they are broadcasting I listen to the radio announcers.[/b][/quote]
