I havent dabbled in the mobile blogs as of yet newton but i know that wordpress has a great plugin to allow users to view/post from their mobiles.

Wordpress is simple to install (requires mysql db) and there is a multitude of plugins out there to cover almost anything you need done. IMHO it is the best blogging software out there, (user built plugins) and is highly customizable

The scripting is workable enough whatever you cannot find you can have coded for you generally for reasonable ammount (going this route myself, more often then not).

If you decide you want to use wordpress, and would like a hand Newton, just hit me up , ive installed the script several times and have it down to a few minutes, and can walk you through some "configuration" settings..heh
