Porn Pioneer Goldstein Back in Business

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. hard-core porn pioneer Al Goldstein, who went from multimillionaire owner of Screw magazine to being homeless on the streets of Manhattan after his sleaze empire collapsed, is making a comeback.
Goldstein, 69, last employed as a greeter at a Kosher deli and as a wholesale bagel salesman working on commission, is back promoting smut, this time over the medium that helped push him from his porn pedestal -- the Internet.

Goldstein was named on Monday as national marketing director for XonDemand, an Internet video-on-demand porn Web site. The site is an Internet version of the old-fashioned peep shows that populated the once-seedy stretch of 42nd Street west of Times Square. Customers can pay a per-minute charge for viewing a pornographic firm or order the whole movie.

i would say that they hired him just for PR purposes and nothing else. they probably pay him almost nothing and look what they get in return... national press. think about it... some unknown "who gives a fuck what they do" porn company is all over news wires just because they hired some poor, broke guy.

my bet is that we will be seeing a lot of clever manipulation of the press from these guys in the future.

i respect what they are doing by the way... i was just commenting on the fact that this has nothing to do with Al Goldstein and more to do with some clever people who figured out how to get national press for their website for simply hiring an old bagel salesman, who by his own admission, has nothing to offer online.

get ready for an Al Goldstein/celebrity sex tape or something bizarre in the next few months.

This is old news however Al has just started Hitting the airwaves so a press release went out to mainstream industry!!!

who gives a fuck what they do" porn company - We are plenty known and have had a great response from that latest press release. Not only have we seen a 30% increse in sales coming from type ins but I have been contacted by every mainstream press for expose's and interviews.

Al has brought us contacts & business that would of taken years maybe even never to bring to the table. You can say what you want but Al has already paid for his salary...And No he has very little to do with our webmaster program other then promoting it when he can!

Say what you want but thinking out of the box is the way I work! Our webmasters are great and I love every last one of them but lets face it there is nothing like your own traffic. On top of all our SEO work I will look at any option that may bring us closer to our goals!!
