his first post on this board made it to the dickhead corner. over there he got blasted by drive by spamming nickpapageorgio was one of the ones blasting him and in the process made good remarks about us. I only came to the thread and said to nickpapa thanks man. next thing i get that fuck off message. i think steady got the point when i only posted here however i really did not like the fact that he said fuck off.

but water under the bridge i will take his thanks and the chance for me to tell him don´t do it again as a cool my bad.

so lets not give it more color no drama here however it is a heads up.

I have no idea what that means but if it's good it's good!!

BTW- that other stuff came about because I hadn't communicated his nick to people that he was a sponsor here before his first post so, as a result, there was a misunderstanding.

I think Steady has just converted an existing mainstream host over to be adult friendly. Ive been in those shoes before.

The pricing is good... the website professional... so heres what my potentials used to ask me.

1. How is your support? Is it availible online? On the phone? On email?
Is there a warm body there 24/7?

2. When setting up a new server with you....how easy do you make the migration? Can I give you access to my stuff and you handle the transfer or whats the methodology?

Im my past experience those 2 were deal breakers.

Give us the skinny what you got and how you are different. Hosting is a crucial part of everyones business.

Youll find several folks here a bit touchy with recent outtages and faced with having to make a move becasue the shit is always down.

Hi, Gonzo

The answer to your first question...Customer support is available by phone and e-mail 24/7/365 for all emergency issues. For non-emergency support we are available M-F 8am to 12midnight CST. non-emergency support will be avaialble even over weekends and holidays, however the turn-around time may take up to 6 hours.

In reference to your second question...A transfer (server migration) is possible and fairly simple but everything takes time.
All of the sites would be setup on the new server a well as the databases. We would preserve the site paths, restore the databases on the new server and of course preserve the file permissions.

However certain scripts C have to be re-compiled by the authors of the scripts, which we cannot do. Most PHP scripts should continue to work as long as the databases are restored, which they would be, and the site paths remain the same, which they also would.

Depending on the amount of data on the existing server to be transferred we would of course say how long the transfer would take. Time is dependent on the complexity of the transfer.

What makes us different are a few things, One would be our support. We have past experience running affiliate programs, TGP's and more. We understand the importance of what the adult webmaster needs. We are also very familiar with the popular scripts that adult webmasters use. Because of that we know how to effectively manage all hosting aspects of your business.

On top of that the network and connections...No bandwidth is shared. Because of our bandwidth capacity each and every port connected to a client server is dedicated. Anything over 10Mbit is on a DEDICATED 100Mbps full/duplex port. That can be verfied via SSH by customers, at anytime. How many host can afford to put 80Mbit on "hold" when a customer is only using 20? Not to many.

I hope I was able to answer you questions...Thanks!

Sounds reasonable to me.

Welcome on board. We have many fine hosts that are part of our family. As I said before people are always looking to improve where they are at and reduce costs at the same time.

I dont envy you in the least with the price of bandwidith getting cheaper and cheaoer.
