I bumped into him on PP . I was innocently playing the cheap money tables waiting for the 7stud tourny when he popped in to say "Hi"

I miss Alex.

I think he refuses to post because Bush's policies continue to be successful, he does not want to have to defend his liberal posistion any longer.

 :yowsa:

I think Alex is inspired from the Japanese culture, where some men would rather leave their families and live as homeless in tent cities, then go home and admit/explain that they are bankrupt or lost their job etc.

Alex´s political arguments took a severe beating since Bush won his 2nd term, and maybe now he would rather do as the Japanese men, and avoid the shame in admitting that he was wrong?

Anyway I also miss Alex :cryin:

haha... y'all are pretty funny.

The only reason I was logged in was that I came here looking for someone's info (contact, mail or PM). Otherwise, I wouldn't have been logged on at all.

Mike, you have to be delusional to think Bush is a success. Nothing can be said to stop your delusions. There is nothing I can say that makes it worth the effort to try.

JR, honestly, I don't give a flying fuck about you. Get bent.

Sharpie, Gonzo is a fine gentleman, I don't doubt the pleasantness of anyone around here. It was just made VERY clear that my comments were not welcome here, and upon reflection, I realized that too much time was spent in a forum that I get little or nothing back from. I don't have a program to sig whore, I don't have any asses around here to kiss. Why spend the time to make other people money (by posting, I was helping to keep the place busy and earn the owners revenue...)

At the end of the day, Oprano may be a nice place, but it doesn't match up to my business plans or personal interests at this point. So why participate in something that truly doesn't add to the bottom line?

Alex

PS: No answers after this one. My next post around here isn't scheduled until 2006.

Alex.... can you share a peek of you business? Id like to help. Honestly...I personally dont have any problem with you.

Oprano is what it is. I make no apologies for its past and I am keen on its future. People and their contributions define what this board has been and what it will become. I remember when I started posting here....some of my statements went against the grain.

If I promise to send you a limited edition "Nick Papageorgio"....Oprano mood change attitude would that give you some incentive?

It came down to a decision of getting out in the rain for breakfast or going and piling up in bed and doing my best imitation of a hybernating bear while it rained.

Guess which won....

But it's time for easter BBQ for breakfast now.

Do it closer to me and I'll be there :P

We didn't get much rain up here at all. Nothing woke me up and I had the sliding glass door in the bedroom open all night. If it was bad, I would have known about it with a nice gentle spray in my face :)

It was pouring on the way back from Easter, but all cleared up once I hit 515.

In the EU they are paying $5-6 per gallon + the growth in EU was just 1.6% last year vs. US 3.7%. Also in the last 4 years the US goverment have successful devaluated the dollar by 40-50% vs. the euro without it causing a world panic.

The US is doing much better than other parts of the world (ex. the EU).
