its about fucking time!!!!

after watching Space 1999 as a child, i had hoped for much greater things in 1999 than what actually materialized. sharing data with our skin would be a great start to remedy this.

I remember going out with a guy who laughed and said when he gave his aunt her first computer back in the early 80's she said she just wanted to type a few words in and have it give her all the info she needed. I pointed out to him had he acted on her request, he could have pioneered search engines :P

Bet you he is kicking himself right now... I actually came up with the netflix concept years ago when the Nasdaq crashed - I never tried to act on it as VC firms were tightening their belts and with the market in the condition it was in I figured noone would bite - Now I bite myself in the ass over that one...

I also about 2 months ago was going to up up to the local family video and suggest they offer a plan where unlike on-line customers can rent 1-2 movies out of their store at a time for however long they wanted for a flat monthly fee. Never went and talked to them though (pry would of had to call the home office anyways).. Lo and Behold - The new blockbuster commercial LOL.
