Why do we only hear from these people who are protecting our interests when they need more money?

Um, cause we don't have and never will have an effective form of lobbying or other such group in this industry? So the fact someone actually takes a stand at a time of crisis is a good thing?

Well I sure as hell hope people are ready for these reg's to pass. It hasn't been a secret what the intent was. And while I don't like the perposed regulations and feel as if they are unreasonable. I/we have always felt it best to protect ourselves and our interests. I hope they don't pass, but I am prepared if they do. It's been months, and ample time for people to prepare. Fighting the good fight is a good and noble thing, but I hope to god people are not betting that we will win this one. If the industry wins, GREAT, if it doesn't are you prepared?
