OK...you can invite 12 webmasters for dinner to have the ultimate dinner party.

Hell , What would be yr choice of menu and where would you have it?

I'd have it in Vancouver at either Joe Forte's or the other one that Anthony recommends..or in Seattle, at El Gaucho's and I'd let them choose the menu.

And once they've moved, they tend to become stationary where they land.

ummm the last two times I imbibed Absinthe.

1.) I was found in a Suite at the Hyatt singing show tunes to the roomservice manager.It seems I had been for an hour. Apparently he put me on speaker phone. The next morning all the staff new my name and smiled at me a lot.

2.) Resulted in the total destruction of A mustang convertible.

Please, I was going under the assumption that the restaurant was already chosen.

This thread makes me have flashbacks to standing in the lobby of the Venetian in '99 night after night during Fays show (no her show was not at the V) with the same people, calling the same late asses to hurry up and get in the bus, when we hadn't figured out exactly where we were going ;)

That and trying to get Delmonico to break their rule and seat 14 at one table instead of two -- unsuccessful lol...

Best thing that ever happened to me in Vegas dining was going to Picasso in my cast and crutches two years ago after the Forum. The sommelier and the assistant manager recognized me when I was in there a couple of months later -- ever since the GM and I have been good friends. There is no one more able to get seating at pretty much ANY Vegas restaurant on short notice than Mario.
