Ok, so obviously at the next trade show we have decent Oprano representation at, we need to have some sort of Oprano function to get everyone together. Dinner, doughnuts, coffee, just something where we can take over some space and hang out for a while. Shouldn't be hard to round up enough sponsors to pull off something small and quiet, I'm sure I can strong arm my fellow FFN's into kicking in a little.

It's actually doable.

The Shemp proved that.

I believe it started with Shemp flying into Atlanta to see Orgasmics, and they just casually mentioned they'd like to get together with some of the locals and meet some folks while he was in town.

Next thing ya know, there's 75-100 people coming to dinner from all over the southeast and Al4A joins in and is nice enough to grab the Presidential Suite at the Grand Hyatt to entertain everyone after dinner.

Shemp, being the total class act that he is, picked up the dinner tab for the whole crew. It had to be expensive as this was not a cheap restaurant, and he really had no business agenda to push. He just did it and he probably had never met 90% of the people in attendance.

I believe the Adult Buffet boys also chipped in and provide limo service to/from the restaurant and hotel at the airport up to Al4A's pimp daddy suite in Buckhead.

One of the best events I've been to. It was small and quiet enough to actually sit down and talk to people, but large enough that you didn't really feel on the spot with strangers. And it was really totally off the cuff, it wasn't a "show".

It was a great event. I honestly thought we had gone down there to pay our own tab, just meet and greet. I was very pleasantly surprised when Shemp paid the bill. He told me "Don't tell anyone there's money in TGP's" :P

I had met one person before who was there - Vooman - so it was an excellent place to meet different folks in the biz in a small gathering. And even though I was still just doing free sites then, I made a ton of business contacts.

i wish i could meet everyone. believe it or not, i am afraid of crowds and people. i was in vegas last for the last show, but i just had dinner with a few friends and some meetings away from the show. hopefully, i will get over it some day. i was in Amsterdam last time and it was the same situation. i just feel uncomfortable around a lot of people unless i am intoxicated... then i am tooooo comfortable, although i am told... i am also quite amusing. unfortuneately however, i dont like to drink.

there are a lot of people here that are extremely bright with a tremendous amount of talent, wisdom and experience and i wish i could spend time with everyone to learn as much about every aspect of this business as possible.

Haha British food is pretty much the same as what you can find in the US except its called different names and tastes better because it doesnt have half the added preservatives and chemicals in it... Milk for example... IS actually pure milk and not some flavored, filtered through carbon with added preservatives crap LOL

I would have tried it prior to this TV show .. in fact, I'm sure my grandparents have made it when i was little ... generally nothing grosses me out where food is concerned.
