GonZo ate the most hot dogs.

Dokk joined us, good to see the man, the myth and the legend.

And Dokk did give Peaches pointers that it was totally inappropriate to bring a goat inside, let alone try to shave it.

Sheiskathi was disappointed at the lack of cheetohs on the menu but did prove a vegetarian can eat at The Varsity.

Dickinbush managed to have a greasy meal WITHOUT a single slice of bacon.

And I was also there although Peaches did try to pin me in my car and leave me stuck in the parking lot.

After we closed down The Varsity, we went down to Bugaboo for Moose Juice and closed it down as well.

So we had most of North Georgia represented. And if the Varsity is true to form, the entire northern half of the state smells like a fart by now.

It was wonderful! There's nothing like the greasy V to get your body jump started. :)

And HP, all I wanted was a hug - but because you're not a hugger you get pinned into the car by my advances!

I bowled a 62 the last time I bowled - it really won't make much of a difference to me :awinky: The glow bowl is fun - sometimes too many annoying kids though. I think we went to US Play at Towne Center? It was a couple of years ago though.

I believe the last time I ate at the Varsity was 35 years ago. It will take me another 35 years to get all that grease out of my system.

The company was fantastic and the conversation eventful.

that place looks fun...i am gunna try and plan it somewhere in central atlanta though, so those coming from down south don't stress over driving late at night...

there are tons of bowling lanes though, so that won't be a big deal

haha

no one is whining...LOL

i am just setting it up to be convenient to all

my main reason is drinking..if people drink it should be in a central location, that way everyone goes the same distance...nothing like drinking 2 pitchers of beer then having to drive an hour

Not to point out the obvious, but drinking 2 pitchers of beer and driving a block is stupid.

You guys need to alternate DD's if you're going to have more than a drink or two, IMHO.

And if you're talking about piss breaks, I had to stop on 515 so Wig and CT could pee on the way home from Fogo's one night. :P Just stay away from ATM machines and you should be fine. :nyanya:

If I'm there, no one will drive home drunk - I can seat 7 and if I have to drive them home myself, I will :)

Regular bowling, late night glow bowling, I'll try to show up for either.

For me, the location isn't so much about the drive time. Just dont put it in a neighborhood where we have to hire Man & Bat, Inc. to join us for security. His bar tab at a bowling joint just might break me.

U.S. Play and Jillians both have lanes and lots of other stuff to do as well, but neither of those is anywhere near central and quite a haul for many.

Most central location I can think of in a reasonable neighborhood would be the lanes at Chamblee. Easy to find, right off 285. Very accessible from P'tree, 85 and 400....and only a 10 minute ride over from 75.
