Porbo.com was my first typo domain that didn't quite pan out, and free-porno-pictures.com is still listed on yahoo. Back when, free porno pictures did 10 to 15 signups a day to Kara's Playground by itself. Ah, the good old days... I bought wankingmaterial.com because I thought it was funny.

I "think" what may be claimed as type-in traffic, is direct referers to old links for that scamming porn torrents thing that shares paysite member areas.. that has been hosted on that domain at some time.

(maybe having a good percentage of the google indexed backlinks (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22%2Bwww.empornium.%2Bcom%22&hl=en&lr=&filter=0) from blacklists blocking the domain is partly the reason for just 3% of traffic coming from SEs?)


I've spoken to 4 or 5 people as a result of this thread Dravyk.. no deals yet, but with NickDark still sniffing about you never know what might happen ;-)

I still find it hard to believe you make 4 cents per unique on TGP traffic..... are you sure this is the case? Do you track this traffic separately with CE MAgs or is dumped in with a bunch of other (better) traffi?

Felt the need to reply to this thread. If it was actual typein traffic making $30 a day then 13K isnt unreasonable at all.. people are paying up to 5 years income for typein domains these days.
