OK , this is old news.

But according to BillPMB and aeon this firm it seems cancelled a load of webmasters and then , basically, kept there recurs.

Costing webmasters an absolute fortune.

A piss concerning this has broken out in this thread

http://www.oprano.com/msgboard/index.php?showtopic=16954

Anyone willing to come from Adultcheck and explain it?

If not ,.....Gonzo , mate , it looks like we have another addition to the "Scamming Bastards" Section of The Good Bad and Ugly , when its created.

I didn't see this. Adult check won't come here.

But this is a mighty fine gesture...good to know this won't just be forgotten.

AC won't come here.

Might be better to call out anyone that is still getting paid by them / has active sites with them to explain what happened from their perspective. Diamond Jim was running my program when AC locked down the affiliate area and DJ didn't regard AVS as important so I didn't know when it happened.

If I'd been active when it happened, you can bet your asteroids it'd been on every board I could find.

Reason I asked in the other thread about the janerus.com sites, is that I really would like to know what happened after AdultCheck pulled the plug on so many webmasters. I see more and more sites having signup pages from http://www.dooza.com http://www.janerus.com - which are obvious part of the AdultCheck network, but are those who run the sites also part of what happened when AdultCheck made the clean up?

I remember Paul from AC, was 95 or 96 I think. Old adult dex show at the Saharah if my memory serves me good :)

We sat down to play bj at one of the tables, me and fletch. Not much of gamblers over here - like 5.00 to 10.00 per hand. Damm that paul guy is throwing down thousands at a time.

Got to talking with him, was pretty cool and easy going. Though I never knew him business wise. I don't think anyone in our company ever setup an avs. I suppose I lost alot of money by not trying out that sector.

I'm pleased that AC is a blip on the radar again. At least IBill was being communicative about crashing and burning.

The AdultCheck.com thing was more like putting a puppy in a pillow case and tossing it off a bridge.

I guess we can add http://www.doozacash.com/about_us.acp and http://www.egspay.com/ to the list of AdultCheck services.

I was also told that swapbucks.com (now defuct) was part of the VideoPass setup?

Maybe there is a good explation why the owner of VideoPass, who is also a former owner of AdultCheck, is now hosting in the same dutch datacenter as AdultCheck/Dooza???
I´m not pointing fingers, but since it was brought up, then I thought it was only fair to investigate it myself, and I have found more questions than answers...

Rolo,

I doubt egspay is active in the way of webmasters. I doubt it is a publically used merchant provider.

I would agree, and the logo made me laugh!

Swapbucks was a horrible idea and Marty realized that once he was rid of that leech Chris Levy. Thus the inception of Videopass.

On the AVS side of things people were fuckin' mad dogs. Most AVS webmasters hang around smaller boards or just lurk tho.

On a side note, let me add in a way it was intriguing to watch. Mom and pop porn peddlers, with families, mortgages, car payments & PTA meetings - seething with hatred to the point of almost willingly becoming mass murderers.

If I'm not mistaken, they had to go into stealth mode for their get together at that convention because of the absolute destruction people were wishing upon them and the tier 1 fucktards.

That most of the people screwed were mom and pop types was why you never saw any lawsuites. The people they screwed most were the $1k-$10k crowd, enough to hurt, but not enough to make a law suit worth it. And no body could pull the group together to do a class action. Add to that the move off shore and they got away with theft.

Of course they do still have 1 major asset that is still in the US....

I remember reading about the class action thing on some avs boards. You obviously were around when it happened. We bump into each other before?

BTW - don't take that slam in the thieve thread to heart. Thinking of thieves causes me to seriously eyeball a tri state killing spree, which leads to some friendly fire casualties occasionally.

Why would I take a slam from you seriously?

In your family fuck you! is probably has the same meaning as a hug. ;)
