Let''s see ... ten years in the Navy, five years at Anheuser Busch, a year in medical supply sales, three years managing my own cleaning/disaster restoration/janitorial franchises (ServiceMaster); back to A-B for a progject, two years in banking, back to A-B for a project, five years in litigation support for a law firm, back to A-B for a project ... been on the 'net since 2001.

Not sure what I'm going to do, however. I'm getting restless again. Might move to Montana to raise dental floss, might go to school to be a rocket scientist or a soda-jerk.

Law School....

I have been thinking of taking the bar in Fl. I am trying to work some free time....

Imagine the scourge set upon the world if I become a member of the bar.

It could be one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

I think it's more of a fantasy.

I have never sued anyone.... but I fantasize about it.

So many causes of action... such little time. B)

Drunk/stoned college student...working part time at DHL lumping boxes or any other shit job I could find to pay the rent. A stipend just doesn’t cut it if you wanna eat anything other than mac and cheese.

My best job was working for Half Priced Books. Run by a bunch of hippies but being paid to be around books was like a wet dream come to reality. I’m a degenerate bibliophile so I was in nirvana.

Selling weed, Making burgers and steaks and mopping floors, then got a job at a mortgage company, started making some part time money on the net while at the burger job that I was at for a year.

Selling pot was a nice teenage gig, always pleanty of girls wanting to get high, made good money, didnt have to do much work for it, always at a party and got paid while getting high and flirting with girls.

Inbetween the burger place and the mortgage company, I got a job at a foodstore bagging groceries, it was so boring i downed most of a bottle of vodka on an empty stomach before comming in, started acting all nutso and threw up all over the place. I figured out fast that bagging groceries wasn't my true calling.

So many occupations…
Here are my major ones in the order that I had them.
Family A/C contracting business growing up, it was hell, still have my contractors license.
Photographer
Madam
Graphic designer
Publisher of swinger magazines
Mac computer consultant
Pornographer
Some of them overlapped others. Still have a few computer clients that I maintain but probably not for much longer. Out of all the things that I've done I like my current occupation the most since my biggest decision of the day is do I get dressed before or after work. I do miss doing photography but the money was shit so I don't miss it that much.

Damn I feel old…

Real jobs..
Tape Librarian
Computer Operator - IBM & Unisys
LAN Tech
Computer Operator - Tandem
ATM Project Manager
ATM Network Admin

ATM is refering to Automatic Teller Machines and not Asynchronous Transfer
Mode.

Worst bullshit job was in high school.. worked at a toy store in the mall at Christmas. On my first day everyone took a break, went to lunch.. whatever. I found I was the only person working in the store. I didn't know how to work the register.. so I kept telling people Merry Christmas and it was free. I gave away a bunch of stuff..

Best bullshit job was in college.. I got a part time job at a movie theater.. I ate lots of popcorn, never figured out how to work the register, and got fired because I sat in the theater watching movies all day long.

Started as a programmer back in 1978 then eventually ended up as IT manager for BMW in South Africa. From there I went into software sales and eventually helped setup the Informix Distributor in. Left there and started Unify Corp. in SA before leaving to move to Australia. Was the IT manager for BMW here and then left after my adult sites could support me.

Well, not totally true ... did a few other crappy jobs here and there, brickie, paper delivery, managing director of a company in sydney that was insolvent while trading ... but started in 'the industry' on my 19th bday when i started working at insane media. Prior to that id done a few websites for other people, non adult though.

I got fired from my only foray into retail ... I worked in the display department for a department store for about three months during the Christmas season right after high school. I was already a tad agrivated by being smacked across the back by an umbrella-weilding old lady who was concerned that the sight of naked manequins on a cart was unsuitable for children who might see them when a lady asked to try on a dress. The difference between the size of the dress and the size required by the woman probably exceeded Grogan's current age, and I apparenly was less than kind in telling her so.

Property management... I've managed hotels, done accounting work, leasing, was assistant manager of 892 condo units in the Bay Area, office management, etc.

Paralegal... again, property management related, our attorney hired me away from the real estate office when I expressed an interest in switching careers... Did computer processing, served a few notices and did some collections... soon I realized that lawyers & I don't "jive" so that lasted about 9 months....

Quit work totally, came home to be mom to the kids after shipping them off to private schools/daycare since birth and have been home ever since.

Directly before I got involved in the net, I was an office manager for a dating company. Most of my employment was in office management but, I did work in AR/AP and did a stint as a pharmacy technician and a baker specializing in cake decoration. I can do your payroll, make you a nice boob shaped birthday cake and suggest a good over the counter cough medicine all at once. :agrin:
but the most important thing, spit or swallow ?
Actually... there are more quesitons than that

1. Is it shaved?
2. Do you swallow?
3. Do you take it up the ass?
Answers:

1. Without a clear definition of 'it', I cannot answer that question.
2. Everytime I eat.
3. Not since the invention of digital thermometers. [/b][/quote]
How many points does Hone get for being a prissy bitch?

During College I worked for my friend who own a Pawn Shop

First Job out of College was training stock brokers how to use their new computer system. Actually I mostly partied and got the opportunity to travel all over the country.

I used to be the cable guy... :D

I became a framing contractor... I remember getting an Apple IIc to do the paperwork and keep track of everything... one of those things that didn't even boot up without putting in a floppy. I remember learning how to write a program for that thing to print payroll checks and I wrote one to pick random lotto nimbers when the Florida lottery first came out. After debugging and getting everything working good on it, I went and bought 5 tickets from the results. The very first time I won $378... It was the only time I ever won anything worth mentioning from that program again and I can tell you I spent more than the winnings. I thought I had something with those first time results but it's a good laugh to look back on.

Eventually I turned into a spammer, that was when spam came only in a can. Then after it became illegal I did some design and color separations for a print shop and do network marketing.

This brought me back to the net and all the lovely porn that has brought the net to us all and all that it brings to us :wnw: ...ahhhhhhh

By the way, Big shout out to everyone!! :rokk: I am new here and hope to make many friends... and by the way, no I do not spam any more. :salute:

That's just my side gig

Actually forgot to include my first job

Shining shoes at age 7. My grandfather was a cabinet maker and built me a shoeshine box. My other grandfather owned a bait and tackle shop. I'd go to the bench by the shop and set up and shine shoes

Three years ago my Grandfather told me he had a special present for me for Christmas .........

..... It was the original shoeshine box (it was 33 years old) with a note the read "Your First Business Venture"

One of the best Christmas presents I ever received

I am a programmer analyst for the county
and I wrote all the code.
Sitting in a cubicle daily
collating the right mode

And I drink more coffee than is healthy
And I get paid very low
But the County Pogramer is still writing code...
