playing poker!! :bdance:

Just rolled in the door as I went to my local casino and played No Limit Texas Hold Em for over 15 hours straight!! I came out ahead but I finally had to leave when I lost two big hands to a total moron who stayed on big raises by me with cards any sane person would even if they were playing in the blinds.

15 hours are you nuts!!!!! lol

For the record....

13 - 7 stud tournys entered
8 - in the oney finishes
4 final tables.

Don't ask me about NL...l'm being beaten like a redheaded step child...

For example....

Last night $30 tourny NL

I get K/K blinds are 50/100....comes to me I throw in a $300 raise... moron raises to $600 i throw in 1200...he all ins at around 2200

I KNOW he ain't A/A cause he has been playing loose...I call him.

He shows 8/5 spades!!!! I'm pissing my pants laughing.

Flop comes 2 8s...then to really kick me he gets a 5 on the river...

In the real world I would have shot him and the dealer...

I wanted to reach across and choke the stupid fucker!! The people at my end f the table were just incredulous at some of the calls he made. Normally that kind of stupid shit is only at the $3-$6 tables but occasionally you get a fool like that and when it pays off big for them it pisses me off.. especially if it's at my expense.

perhaps you'd be more comfortable at a lower stakes table;)

so let me get this straight. you prefer no limit hold em because you can be aggressive and go all in. but when somebody does the same and catches some cards to boot, you go home whining.... makes sense:)

Playing with idiots like that is an EXTREME test of your patience.... usually you lose patience, because the idiots will call and bet every fucking thing to the river EVERY FUCKING HAND......

Thats why I joined a local Poker Club.... private... 80% GOOD players that know the game, and test your skill... NOT your patience! LOL

There is an Opranaut here that plays like that.

Mentioning no names.....

He gets pretty colours syndrome.... LOL

And only remembers when they hit. Not the 23 times they didn't.

No, I'm perfectly comfortable at the no limit tables and do quite well at them. I just get annoyed sometime when morons stay on stuff that will KILL them over the long run and make them much poorer and then are rewarded for their stupidity while playing against me in a hand. I normally don't let it bother me much at all but I was/am tired and cranky!!

Nick, have you checked out pokerprophecy.com? its pretty cool. I was just reading Poker Nation by Andy Bellin and he tells a story about a psychologist who played in an underground club in NY. This guy would be irate if someone made the wrong play but was rewarded. He would sit there and go on a tirade telling the player all of the things they did wrong. I totally do that! lol, I turn into a little brat who has to heckle the person who jacked me at the table. Andy Bellin said he could never understand that because if you really think the person played it wrong, they will probably continue playing badly and benefit you in the long run. I am trying to keep my anger under control and realize that these fish I play online have made me tons of money and that I just need to accept the stupid beats when they happen and move on!
