Man o man. This thing is kicking my ass. I just started to come down with the symptoms late yesterday and was up till 4:30 am trying to get to sleep. This morning I wake up and it's full blown. I hope you guys have either already been through it or had your shots. This thing ain't no joke. :)

Hot toddies.
Lots of juice and water.
Sleep.
Pray.
I hope you feel better soon.
Crossing fingers. I had a mild flu a few weeks ago, but not enough to put me down.

Hope you get well sooon, brother !!!!! :okthumb:
and whatever you do DON'T COOK!!!!!!!
I agree - this year's strain is awful.
Hub was home sick for 8 days with it - is on antibiotic for a related inner ear infection as well.... ended up flying to Daytona for the 500 anyway yesterday even though I know he's still not 100% - just that lingering dizziness, but cough is gone and congestion (finally).
I feel like I'm *trying* to get it... had the inner ear thing with the dizziness and equilibrium being "off" - but so far have been fighting it. Lots of echinacea, vitamin C, zinc, water and rest. *crossing fingers* Hope I don't end up getting a full blown case.
