I have a 13 year old too. Second time around for me. I wish I had been closer to my daughter over the years. She's lived in NY and I in Florida.

Amanda is in Ohio taking care of her mother and can't come back to Florida yet so I'm moving to Ohio for a while.

I have to echo some of the earlier posts here.

My twins are 10 years old, and they are my life. With them living in San Diego with their mother, and me in Florida it's been tough. I talk to them every day, and will have them for the summer.

Parenthood is tough, but so worth watching them grow up.

Well, we better get along now. Kids deserve to have both parents around. We both believe that. I strongly believe two parent families are better for children than one.
We'll give it a go. Our child deserves that.
