So you have the trojan that can do the things described here:
http://www.oprano.com/msgboard/index.php?showtopic=16333

Lets see how many Opranauts would HAVE to use it?

"I have the morals I can afford"

The only thing I will NOT consider in this business is any form of KP.

EVERYTHING else , I'm willing to talk.

""Nuns fucking horses and Nazi stormtroopers""

My only questions would be...

1.) How much
2.) When do they pay
3.) How's it converting?

I would like to conduct some research on it , including but not limited to a full field study.

Hijacking someone's computer (which is what this puppy amounts to) is pretty much the same as stealing someone's car or breaking and entering into their home. Imho of course.

Then it wouldn't be a trojan and that $5000/day with minimal effort would be more like $500.

Is it illegal ? Could be. At least if someone went after someone under conventional laws. Laws against theft and destruction of property and the like could be used as could possibly rico stuff, not to mention various telecommunications statutes that might be able to be called on if an affected system was connected via conventional phone lines.

Still, even if it is in some way legal it would not mesh with my way of thinking. But then again, I will probably die poor too.

Nope. Never feels natural using a Trojan.

A trojan is unethical to some people. Porn is unethical to some people. I don't really have ethical standards on such things. However, I wouldn't get involved in such a thing because of the possible negative publicity and its negative effect on our other businesses.

Everything in business comes with a price tag - and when you no longer can afford the payments, then they will repo your soul :awinky:

That $5K/day sounds almost pathetic, if its from screwing millions of people world wide...

Just so you know, these are not the specs for SexTracker's software - though they copied my stuff - so what features of mine they decided to steal and incorporate I don't know.

These are the specs to my software - the original - and I'm the brains behind coming up with it. EVERYTHING you see out there now is ripped off versions of what I created.

My stuff comes wrapped aound additional software with a EULA and I tell folks exactly what the software does. Not only that, when you want to uninstall my software - I uninstall it and don't trap you in an endless cycle of additional software installs like so many others do.

That is why after 4+ years you don't hear anyone bitching about my installs.

You might think that the software (and any copy of it) is pure evil and I'd only ask you to bear 2 things in mind.

1. The guy that created the razor most likely envisioned it being used for good but you can bet many folks have been killed with one. Just because a tool is capable of being evil doesn't make it so - it's the user who implements the features you should point to.
2. I don't care what you think about the software. I didn't come up with it to impress anyone and don't need/want emotional handholding regarding it.

Now in an effort to level the playing field between the have and have nots, I'll sell you your own version of the software and hook it up on your server and show you how to use it for 15K You want it - hit me up on ICQ 269762

What features you choose to turn on is your business.

And (this is the edited/added part)
Nick is about right about the amount of revenue it can generate. It's already been tested. If you can install it and sell the traffic - it generates that much revenue.

Let the games begin

I don't think its very smart to jump onto a bandwagon that has just started to be regulated ... the FTC is yet to spank someone properly, so if I were to do it, I'd have my eyes open very wide and be considering the issues that would mean the difference between just doing something unethical or being made an example of in the legal system and ending up someone's toy in jail.

It seems to be common for people who go after 'get rich quick' concepts like this to end up poor ... then rich again ... then poor again ... then rich again ... then poor again ...

Obviously there's a shitload of traffic to be had ... but a shitload of potential hassles too.

Its not something I'd get involved in, but only because I have other projects that are more important to me than making $5k a day for a few weeks.

Personal choice ... ethics are a moving line!!

I wonder how the private discussions are going?

I wonder has anyone ever got counsels opinion on it?

Ie if it asks permission in some way to download etc.

Bama how does the install work?

There are certain features that are prolly not the grief to switch on , but there are other features of it that I believe are awesome.

The problem is as an owner of Oprano , I'm prolly to high profile to use one.
