You'll have a hard time getting the webmasters who barely have hair on their pee pees to send traffic to you. They think every pay site must have a slick flashy tour and that all of the models must be blonde and look like they just turned 18.

Meanwhile, there is a segment of surfer out there who will join and stay with you forever so long as you update regularly and give them attention. The true amateur surfer is a hard beast to wrangle unless the model really is participating in the site, but they are among the most profitable customers out there due to strong retention potential. Your site is fine in regard to attracting them. You just need traffic.

My advice is first do some link swaps within the amateur site community. Danny just pointed you at one of the best places on the net to start. Carol's site is huge, but at it's core it represents all of what I'm talking about in regards to true amateur sites.

The home designed site look is PERFECT.... As backwards as this seems, the last thing I would recommend would be a professional looking tour.

Too many programs these days are forgetting about psychology and designing their tours to try to impress affiliates instead of separating the surfer from his wallet.

Maybe.

It'll depend on whether she can get traffic. Room to improve the tour? Oh yeah. But if she takes care of the members, I've seen much uglier sites do well.

LOL dark meat does very well with alot of my traffic. It's actually racist people who signup, they feel a rush out of black girls being abused.

My personal opinion on the whole crappy looking amatuer sites convert better...

I dont think so.

Your site design quality reflects your content and members area quality.

And I also think surfers are smart enough to know that yes... this girl is doing this as a business to make money... if shes willing to invest something into her site they know that shes serious about it and is not going to abandon her site or stop updating it.

And the whole blahblahblah crap some sites do... "Oh I put up this site just because I am horny and I just want to show you all my tits, Im not doing this for the money". BlahBlahBlah.... Who really belives all this? LOL. And why do you want these guys anyway?

I get rude guys coming in my free chat and the first thing they say to me SHOW TITS, SHOW PUSSY, SHOW ASS all in caps. Carol is still holding her own in the Amateur market. It's still, by far, the best converting site in our program, and remains the real moneymaker. Who would have thought a 41 year old mother of 3 still outdoes all the young hottie sites?!

Our "semi-retired" status is all thanks to Carol :awinky:

We would be fully retired, but we have a 7 year old, and therefore no life. So might as well stay busy and keep making money :rokk:

Carol is still holding her own in the Amateur market. It's still, by far, the best converting site in our program, and remains the real moneymaker. Who would have thought a 41 year old mother of 3 still outdoes all the young hottie sites?!

I know you convert well and its a money maker...

But we have some members who spend $10k + a month!

You can have 1000 members who pay $20 a month for a membership...
or you can have 20 members spending $1000 a month on cam minutes...
which of these makes you more money?

Keep in mind that with this type of site, single-girl, amateur site, you are really creating a "fan site" of sorts. Try to add as much of your personality into the site as possible.

The people that pay for a membership will do so because they "fall in love" with you, and/or feel that they have some type of personal connection with you.

Some ways to achieve this are:

1. Add a dairy page where you tell about your life. It can detail many things such as sexual exploits, likes and dislikes, pets, favorite movies, tv shows, what you did this weekend.

Make yourself more of a real person and go beyond just being a sex object.

2. A guest book also helps achieve a sense of community or interactivity and connection with the "star" of the web site.
