You wanted to know what Ron was up to?

He is still in Adult and a partner of "The Butcher" on a fake assed board that started up that currently has 3000 members online. LOL

I'm asking round who the butcher is...No one knows who is he is.

I am getting feedback ranging from:
He is based in Montreal but likes to pretend he is in America.
His domains are registered to France and Britain
He owns a load of incest related domains , but the registry is hidden.

Some say he is "David Manning" a guy who had a board paying 8 cents a post.
Some say he is a guy called "steve"

Eitherway loads of people are now looking right up his ass.

Of course Ron ,who admits he is a partner , could just come out and say something publicly about him.

Thats what I don't understand.If it was all on the up and up someone like Ron ,surely , would have no trouble coming here and explaining all about it it.

Meanwhile people are carrying out all sorts of investigations on him.A couple I have heard about are really ingenious LOL , I'm waiting til they share the results.LOL

But yeah , he is still in adult.

He opened Adultnetsurprise when I refused to sell him half of Netpond ( for $1)back in 2001.

I think he also may have part funded Meat's legal action against me back then.

Back in 97/98 though he was real helpful to me as a newbie and gave me good advice.

I have never had the pleasure ( or misfortune) depending on who you ask, of meeting Ron Levy.

Nor have I had an opportunity to use CECash as of yet on anything I am involved with .

However I have met John, Bob brandt, and MikeB and Of course bigB all of CE and i think those guys are a terricfic group of guys to talk with.

It is obvious though that the new board is a scam, I just do not see the angle, unless it is a devious one from the start. and that has me concerned for sure .

I for one will not go there.

I agree it would be nice to find out how such a good group could get involved with such a scam.

I would love to see Fantasyman come and explain the involvment as well.
Some stories tell it that he was the original pioneeer of the adult internet as we now know it. and baing to new as izzy mentioned, I would also like to know more in order to make a good assessment of the facts.

He seemed a very nice, cordial guy.

Its one thing to jump on the 'brad shaw sucks' bandwagon, but R_n is a serious businessman who will crush you with his pinky finger.

Just to clarify FM has never done anything wrong against us - all deals have been according to the terms/contract, and we have always been happy at the end of the day - business is business, risk want you can afford, and you will be alright :)

Thanks for the heads up CJ and your concern for my well being.

however I am not jumping on any "bandwagon" I really like the guys at CE
as I mentioned before and was ALWAYS told Ron was not in the indiustry anymore

I was also told that he was a good businessman, and again as I mentioned before " The pioneeer of the adult industry"

I am just trying to figure out if that was a good thing or a bad thing? in a sense
and learn the history of the business from the larger players standpoint.

one must understand the good and the bad to learn and prosper, I am still in a stage of trying to figure out what those are ( the good and the bad)

I do however l;ike what Oprano is/was/and has become , I realy appreciate the opportunitis I have gained here
and consider myself a 100% team player, so if ANYONE is using intimidation tactics or planning to cause harm to the principles or (parties involved here )

FM, has done alot for the business, and even if he is sailing another course, you cannot take away all the contribution this man brought to this industry that is viable today.

Ya either loved him or hated him. He has a brilliant business mind and a memory of an elephant, he can pull emails from 9 years ago in about 30 seconds and quote something you said with total proof.

Could he crush somebody now? Nah, I do not believe that. His connections via business deals gave him the power thru alliances to do whatever he had to do, whether it be a good thing or not.

At one time, it was believed the only way to leave CE was in a body bag, and we all know in these times, its all love and well wishes.

Times have changed, I do not believe CE has the influence and wing span it once had. There are so many sponsors now, and webmasters are very pleased with all the choices. No one sponsor has the power to ruin a webmaster easily like in the old times.

But FM in the old days and the new CE will always protect their trademarks and copyrights, and will knock you out of the ballpark if you try to disparage them, steal from them, or bring them harm.

There is no way FM or anyone would crush a webmaster for opinion oppositions, actually at one time FM liked a good piss fought with facts...he chooses his battles, and we all know when he starts, he is relentless....I miss that side of FM and I miss him on the boards. We had some great pee's.

Dean did a whole lot more for me than FM. between Dean, Serge, ScottPB, thats all i needed as far as the output was concerned.


it was simple really.. his sites just stopped onverting. I dont give a shit how fancy your stats are.. for christs sake i had to pour over serge's referrer logs and sometimes count my own hits, but the bottom line was worth it:) John Cotact and his stats systyem Y2k :D

I've worked with Rowdy on/off for years and there's no way anyone could call him anyone's bitch no matter who he works for/with. I've never known Rowdy to ever depend upon anyone completely other than himself. He's a smart guy with a lot of common sense and experience - that's why he was always perfect to coach newbies or set affiliates straight on making the most out of a program.

Opti said it best, he's beyond reproach IMHO as well... one of the good guys.

Ron is good as gold in my books. the guy has been always fair with me. Actually more than fair. The guy over paid one time 13k. I called him and asked him if he wanted to deduct it from my next check or I could cut him a check, His response was "You keep it. It was our mistake."
