I watched "The Fifth Estate" last night.

http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/

The program was called, Sticks and Stones and deals with the different political bias in the media (Fox, in particular).

I found this show was presented in an un-biased nature, but since I'm off a little bit to the left, you can decide for yourself.

I don't know if Americans can get CBC Newsworld on satellite, but it is going to be re-broadcast tonight at 10pm eastern.

No doubt. Fox is biased toward American Conservatism. What liberal news bias did they cover?

The United States is in the midst of a very un-civil war. It's a war of words that's pitting conservative against liberal, that's already divided the country into red and blue. The new gladiators are commentators like Bill O'Reilly and Ann Coulter and their forum is the television studios of networks like Fox. It's loud, it's raucous, but does it have anything to do with the truth?

Funny how they go after those on the right.

Poor Canada, just cannot get things correct.

It was more of an issue of how the right thinks that most media outlets are very liberal in nature. CBS (Dan Rather) for example.

It was speculated that his retractions had a lot to do with conflicting political interests between the administration, and the network.

They also touched on how Bush now uses the phrase "homicide bomber" in stead of "suicide bomber", and how Fox News immediately picked that phrase up and use it themselves in all newcasts where it applies.

That's good stuff and interesting but basically the show on bias was biased. ;-)

I guessed that beforehand. Know how? Canadians are as biased as Americans.

"speculated". ;-)

It was me that said "speculated", not the show. :awinky:
