Anyone know if its worth owning or is Alien Vs. Predator one of those 'rental only' movies?

Definately rental only, it is the same director who produced Mortal Combat i think, some good bits but the acting sucks.

actually, it's not a bad movie, just not particularly good either...it had a great premise and some of the ideas were good, just not brought to full fruitition due to the studio wanting a PG13, thus neutering some of the action scenes...

It didnt have enough of the Primal Hunter Vs Evolved Hunter Vs Defenseless-Panicking-until-they-find-heavy-firepower Humans feel I was hoping for....

Now that they've done Alien vs Predator and Jason vs Freddy ... what's left?

Only thing I can think of is Bambi vs. Godzilla. But how to make 2 seconds into a movie?

So we actually did end up buying the DVD for AVP as well as Sky Captain and the movie wasnt to bad (AVP).

There is an alternate beginning on the DVD (which we havent watched yet) as well as a bunch of regular DVD extras.

Will lyk what the alternate beginning is like once we actually get a chance to watch it lol
