why is it that people can call cause their house or car was broken into and the police say they are to busy to come if no bodily injury has taken place and they in some cases don't even show up at all, they actually make you mail in a form!!!!

but yet, in cities across the country the spend countless numbers of resources on setting up brothel stings, and prostutuiton busts!!!!

then when all is said and done, all they get out of it is the court fines anyway!!!

why not just tax it and put the money to good use, and not waste the manpower on these types of so called crimes.. and actually go catch the fucking meth heads stealing peoples shit!!!!!

I only have to drive about 50 miles to legalized prostitution, but it would be easier if it were legally available in Clark County ;-)

they pay an enormous taxrate and are very well managed and regulated. I'd like to see it legalized and regulated as such in other states too.

It would help get some girls off the streets and keep them safer as well as patrons would be safer.

Funny how liberals always want to put taxs or financial burdens on comapnies for "school and kids".

Did tabacco settlement help kids? Does gambling $$, lottery money really help kids and our public education system?

I am for legalized prostitution - and it should be taxed, but making the pitch for school and kids is a joke!

well, they have to or the conservatives would never go for it (because you know how family values-oriented the right is) because they think vaginas are vile, wicked caves of doom where satan dwells

Wow, I've called my reproductive organ many things (and had it called many things) but never Satan

All for legalized prostitution anywhere, basically for the reasons Sykk gave

But in Baltimore keep the tax money to build new football stadiums - the Ravens need one about every 20 years - fuck the Orioles oh that's what the working girls would be doing ah ha ha ha

Do most areas really enforce the prostitution laws? Around here (here meaning ATL and surrouding areas - hookers would probably go broke in my neck of the woods), unless the neighbors are complaining, there's underaged girls involved, or something in addition to prostitution is happening, they seem to leave them alone.

To answear your question NO it did not make it to help schools it was diverted for war and defense spending ...

but since our deficite continues to go through the roof we could use the money for anything really, I just used those useful things as an example :P

I think it should be legalized as well. Not only could it be taxed, but the "workers" might get better healthcare and treated by their bosses, not employers, better.

would you vote to legalize prostitution in your,

It's legal here and in many other European countries it's legal, too. So I can not see raeally a problem with this. Even it's not legal, it will happen. So, you better make it legal and everybody will be happy and earn something. But the best of it, the girls can make it officially and will get a health insurence.

Legalize weed and hookers. Violent crimes would drop, everyone would be nice and mellow and relaxed.

Not gonna happen in this generation in most of the U.S. though.

In Atlanta, it has to stay out of sight to survive. As soon as the soccer moms figured out what REALLY happens in an asian spa or massage parlor, they pretty much ran 'em out of the neighborhoods. There are a few left in non-residential areas.

Street Ho's generally aren't seen other than around the strip clubs at the airport. They make the token effort to clean those up periodically.

Incall and outcall again is tolerated til some soccer mom figures out why the nice young ladies in the the condo around the corner get so many gentlemen callers at all hours.

except that the 'powers that be' don't want us to be relaxed and mellow, then there would be no drama or bullshit that keeps them in power

there's this song on MTV at the moment that has a really good line ...

"We spend billions of dollars manufacturing medication to keep old guys hard longer, but something that grows in the ground is illegal"

*shrug*

there's a few brothels in my city, Australia is finally starting to accept how things are. I *think* the law is that prostitutes *must* be in a private brothel, not on the street ... since the law was introduced, there are no girls on the corner up the road, and that can only be a good thing.
