Other than Jesse who sees every movie, for some reason most Opranites skipped this movie? Some bizarre demographic lurking beneath the surface here yet to be uncovered?

Just havent gotten around to it yet.
I saw million dollar baby and spanglish last week, both were good. Million dollar baby, pleanty better than I expected, spanglish, alot better than I expected because Adam Sandler hasn't made a good movie since the 90s. He's not the best at playing a serious role, but he's not horrible either. Both are worth seeing.

It's on my radar screen, but I haven't had a chance to see it yet
I'm going to catch Alone In The Dark (my favorite online movie critci has a small role in the movie) and try to catch a matinee of Assualt On Precinct 13 (the original is my favorite John Carpenter flick and I doubt there will be a replication of the infamous ice cream truck driver scene)
Nope not seen it yet.
Next on my 'to see' list is Saw which gets released on the 15th Feb :)
I have not seen it, but I heard it was very good.

Its definitely on my list Colin
(see avatar) B)
The only thing that scares me is all the awards it was nominated for
(usually means a crappy movie)
I was talking to some guy about this movie a couple months ago (he is in the movie biz) and I predicted it would be an acclaimed movie, but not make the $$$ because this generation has no clue or fascination with Hughes.

You're a true contrarian, my friend. I say this from years of experience. ;-)
Haven't seen it yet, but met the guys that produced it at Miramax the other day. Now that was my idea of a star sighting at lunch!

thanks colin
hi kk....
couldn't have been that star studded...
your humble foldster was not present
:burn:
As best as I can remember, the only other Academy Award movie I liked
was Amadeus
hahaha, Fold, true.
I don't get all excited over seeing Hollywood stars. I get excited seeing the guys who make the wheels turn and control the money ;)

I thought the movie was interesting.. the ideas in it have proven many things i have been reading lately. Don't know how close to the real truth it was.. but i enjoyed it.
I think Decaprio did a great job in this movie.. and i am not a big fan of his.
