It seems to me, it just died? does anyone know where it is at now?

we are passed the 60 day period everyone was worried about

There was some rumours that the DOJ would release the new regs in january.. jan is running out so doesn't like the case.

There had been some additionall funding provided to DOJ/FBI for more money for dealing with online issues, but there are probably other more important issues for them to deal with.

Several industry attorneys are waiting to file injunctions against the new 2257 regs once they come out, so there are many people watching vigilantly. You can be sure that this Paul Revere will be ringing the bells and saying "the regs are coming, the regs are coming" once i hear word :D

this goes back to my motto
government red tape is a good thing when you are involved in something (arguably) immoral

our industry will make a lot more money with a government in gridlock than one that's functioning as a cohesive unit

Thanks, I remember bankruptcy reform was a big issue and then one day it just vanished( with no reform)

was wondering if the same thing has happened here .
