is it only ileagle to send an e-mail with a url?
can one call and leave a voice url on a phone with maybe a sexy siren voice leaving the message?

Possibly... But you have the "do not call" list to contend with and then FCC guidelines on obscenity etc to deal with...

First time someone complains that their 13 year old went to a website pitched in a call and then found porn you would find out ALL the legal ramifications..

I have seen folks advertising urls on late night TV and have seen at least one or two bollboards that are basically hawking a site (don't know if I've seen adult on billboards other than a url to a site attached to the titty bar or adult store the billboard was for). I see lots of ads in the back of "The Pitch" (local alternative paper) for sites... And I have broached the idea of doing snailmail to promote a site.. So there are many alternatives out there...

Don't know if phoning would be viable or not.

I believe a lot of places have laws against telemarketing with recorded messages.
