Reading about the company that processes unclaimed baggage for the airlines. Some of the oddest things they have found in people's bags:
41 carat natural emerald.
Full suit of armor.
An Egyptian mummified falcon and shrunken head dating to 1500BC.
A camera designed for use on NASA's space shuttle.
Live rattlesnake.
F-16 fighter jet guidance system valued at $250,000.
5.8 carat diamond set in platinum hidden in a sock.
And probably the most useful:
A parachute :)

I once left my return tickets from San Diego on the plane!!! :headwall: Was an expensive lesson having to buy all new tickets to get back. I was pissed off to high heaven and was a total and complete asshole when they told me I had to buy all new tickets to get home.
