a paysite that completely looks amatureish ( meaning it was done by an amature)

or one that has all high definition good pics, and a professional layout?

I have heard both schoools of thought and want to hear it from the best now
as i begin to develop some paysites

it depends on your target audience

if the site is a single girl, I made it by myself site or very niche specific, an amateurish design works better, but for higher end stuff, go with the flashier, higher quality content/design.

I think it all depends on the niche, like surfers prefer pro looking pornstar site, but not so much with say sologirl....

http://www.giselleyum.com

should I change the design to be more pro? or does this amature l;ook do better for it?

looks good, but loads a little slow, IMHO

good luck with it and if you release a hardcore site or a big dick site, be sure to check out http://www.monstercockproject.com for your members ;-) (and no, my personal performances are not available on that plugin ;-))

I agree with what has been said here for the most part but even an "ugly" looking paysite in an area like hardcore or whatever can convert like mad with the right combination of "ugly" graphics and damn good text.

Yeah it does load slow.

People will back out.

Too heavy a page?

Also not amateur ENOUGH looking ..more text really fuck it up if you are going for the home built porn look if designed by an amateur.

Also.....

If its surfers looking for amateurs , you are after ,they steer well away of any site where the girl has a boob job.

8 out of 10 women with a boob job are in the business and therefore , not an amateur.

Many amateur market site builders ignore this fact , but its very true...

Amateur and BDSM are the only niches that work well with "amateurish looking" designs.

And even those can sell (to a different set of folks) when done high-end and glossy.

Agreed and you might also want to check the spelling Joe, there are a couple of noticable mistakes.

There is a big blank space above the text that is driving me crazy ;)

Possibly pop some text on there saying a bit more info about her, what she likes/enjoys (clothing/toys/photoshoots/films etc) as amateurs love to give out info.

Nice theme though man ;)

I agree that a single solo girl site should look amateur but still have some style.
I like your site Joe, the template is good and the colors but I have to say that the girls could be cut out better and not be so choppy looking. :D

Ugly sites :okthumb:

I've got pretty paysites and ugly paysites and ugly converts better

Of course that is ugly design, but the sites are made with a focus. Such as letting beautiful models stand out on the pages as opposed to having the surfers attention drawn to a bunch of nice graphics or flash

Also need something that is different looking from most everything else

It loads way too slow. No speed, no dough. It slices and dices and is way, way too heavy. You need a total rethink. It looks like every other site out there. Joe, I know we have history, but as one professional to another, this site is a cookie cutter. They don't make a lot of money. Why do what everyone else has done better? Imagination makes money. First adopters make money.
As for ugly....???? Well, that is totally subjective. You wanna do paysites, ya gotta have an edge. This one does not. I am just trying to give you my very best professional advice.

the less flashy the better for most of my traffic. for example, sexpromote converts well for me.

I looked at http://www.giselleyum.com/ and it loads fine for me but I am using cable modem

Only thing I'd suggest is finding a better picture of the model to go at the upper left of the main page and a better pic to go on the upper right of the tour page

one time a kiddy said I couldn't brush his balls as a coder. He was right. I don't care. My sites load fast. They have no tour. They make money. I really have no concept of html nor do I care. What does your bank account look like? That is what is important.

as example of ugly vs. pretty

a company I worked for had an HGH product with two versions, one that looked all sharp and professional and had the obligatory picture of the doctor ina labcoat and fancy graphs and it sucked for covnersions. The second looked like a blind, retarded 4 year old using MS Paint and AOL webbuilder and it converted 5 times better. Both sites had the same text and information, just one looked "medical" and the other looked more like a guy trying to get the word out about the wonders of HGH....

You could optimise the images down a tad more too ..

The look of the design isn't near as important as the psychology behind the design.

You can make money with butt ugly or a site that is slick as snot, but in either case the tour has got to somehow make the user want to see more.

human growth hormone
it's a hormonal replacement product
when you age, you tend to develop hormone deficiencies
this is a replacement for those.

There is a stronger version that is injectable and a more toned down version that is in pill form. Which is actually better is debateable.

I've tried it myself (the oral version) and it did help increase my energy levels, but caused a few issues with my proventil inhaler when I had to use it...the proventil makes me a bit ansty as it is and mixed the the HGH, it was worse, so my doctor advised against using it.

There is some medical debate over whether the oral formula is effective or as effective as the injectable. Some question if the oral version even works.
