worked my way up the NetPond ladder
had a cancer scare that was luckily caught in time (and so far, no recurrances though I still get checked every 6 months)
had a housefire that sent me into a really dark place that took me a good year to crawl out of
launched my own program and found I was better at running a program than a business, so it failed miserably, had a few other things not pan out
finally got my head straight (again, this time with the help medication) and pulled off a great 2004
I am currently the affiliate manager for EvilGeniusCash and couldn't be happier personally and professionally
I also just recently secured $500K in seed capital for a mobile/cell phone venture that is a bit different than some are getting into (waiting for final patents and copyrights before opening my mouth too much publicly ;-))

I'm also the resident movie geek, loving movies ranging from the obscure artsy fartsy to cheesy b-flicks with bad acting, big guns, big explosions and big boobs...

Hmmm...lets see........

Ran an adult bulletin board with a friend back from around '91 through '94. Was at the same time working for a couple of crooks selling illegal software (I was the only person actually "hired", the rest were friends of friends) but learned some of the ins and outs of Direct marketing, then worked doing a big cad/cam installation for a clothing manufacturer. Then I went to a large Direct Marketing database firm where I satyed through 99. Stopped doing the adult bbs and pretty much ignored the net for a few years as I concentrated on keeping kids fed and clothes.

Went to work for the folks hosting the crescent sites in '99 writing tracking apps against about 250 websites. Got to see the adult side of the net from the backend for a couple of years. After Crescent went out and the company did layoffs in 2001, went back to a direct marketing firm during the day and started doing sites to learn the biz from the other side at night.

Right now I am still working fulltime days and trying to do various projects at night. After trying a couple of programming projects for "clients" have decided to pretty much quietly do my own thing, build traffic and write fun programs while I try to find the magic formula..lololol..

I also help my wife with the tech side for her jewelry sites.

Thats about all there is I guess.

Started working in my grandfathers book making store in 1981 and learnt a ton from him and the sad punters that came in after working a full week and watching them blow their wad in 2 hours.

Spent 12 years working for "that will do nicely, cc company" working through the ranks and all the departments doing graphics and manual labour, whilst running several porn bbs's from one of the machines doing ansi and ascii graphics.

Started working on some of the doors at nightclubs and had a fantastic time, and although my body was busy, the mind was left wanting.

Phased out the door work and went freelance to a lot of corporates, banks and medical agencies doing graphics, websites, 3d and video. to move onto project management, sales, advertising and marketing to management. Community is really picking up steam outside of the adult if you look at some out there. I think Loki and Nick Pappageorgio are making some of those for marketing that folks should check into.

I can tell you Nick and I would be interested in discussing community concepts with you over time as a learning experience.

Before the internet thing I was a Madam that did way too much free bassing. I got clean and went on to produced monthly swinger/escort magazines. I also started doing Mac computer consulting around this time.

Found Netpond right after Nick got it, learned a bit about this business. For some odd reason Greenguy has always been really good to me and has helped me a lot he also got me started in the link list business.

These days most of my sales come from my own LL and I still try to build and submit something new each day to help keep the traffic flowing.

Last summer a tranny who I have known for many years and lives up the street from my stopped by asking if I could help her with her site. This has worked out far better then I could have ever imagined and has really increased my income so now I also run a tranny site for my neighbor up the street.

Organized first WebExpo in 1998 - changed name to http://www.cybernetexpo.com in 1999. First show in Secacus, NJ - where I met many of you. Followed by shows in New Orleans, Miami, Montreal & the present spot in San Diego.

Bought http://www.spankyscontent.com in 1990, and have neglected it the last 2 years. (But, have some nice deals)

Lets see...

Got into the biz by using some loan money to buy a turnkey paysite in like 1998 or 99. Within my first few months I got top 10 listings in Alta Vista, Hotbot, Lycos, and other se's for phrases like free sex, sex pictures and various other incredible keywords and made good money with the paysite as well as a killing on exits to MaxCash and True Cash. Thought this was all too easy. Then some fucktard spammed the SE's and took all the sopts from at least 1-100 or more and the se's got pissed and changed the algorithm and it was never quite the same after that. :cryin:

Did free sites, TGP posting and stuff for a while and then hooked up with D-man and helped him run his TGP for a while. Went to New Orleans show and helped him promote his resource site. Met some good people and got to be good friends with Timbo and Sykkboy when I was there. that show is what convinced me that the people in this biz are great to be around.

About that time statred work for a PPS program for a while before moving into mainstream area for the guy I had met and worked with on the PPS program.

Was still doing some adult and looking into possibly making a push to start my own program when my marriage fell apart in the beginning of I do believe 2001. Adult side of business fell apart though I still stayed active on the boards because there are some great people in this biz and drifted from project to project in mainstream not really giving a shit about how things were going. Finally had to move for a number of reasons about a year and a half or so ago.

Worked for my good friend Timbo at Adult Paymaster for the better part of last year while also doing mainstream stuff. Parted on good terms and heartily suggest his program to people, as he's a stand-up guy and his sites will make you money.


Still doing some mainstream stuff and hopefully have a program launching soon as an opportunity kind of fell in my lap as well as some other possibilites being looked into.

Very .... eye opening. Working there towards the end was like walking into an episode of Twin Peaks every day. Some stuff you'd be hard pressed to believe if I told you. Not all the stories that went around were true, but not all of them were false either.

Late 80's I worked as an accountant in New York City. It didn't take me long to realize that majoring in accounting was fine, but working as an accountant sucked bigtime.

Early 90's, you name it I did it. My dad was quite ill at the time, and my mother and I took care of him. I worked nights delivering newspapers, drove a van at JFK airport, and basically did all kinds of shit jobs until my dad passed away...

In 1994 my mother and I decided we wanted to get out of New York, so we moved to Pennsylvania. I wasn't sure about the move, but I wanted to stick by my mother and make sure someone was closeby to her. I had always had an interest in woodworking, so I got a job working in a cabinet shop. I loved the work, but the pay was horrible and the coworkers were a bunch of idiots most of the time. I learned a lot though, and the knowledge comes in handy...

In January 97 I bought a PC. I surfed the free porn and whenever I saw a link that said "webmasters click here to make money" I clicked! hahaha Had my first website online in March of 97 and I was probably THE most clueless webmaster in history. I didn't know how to ftp, or copy and paste for that matter... but I kept going and finally got the ball rolling. I had a bunch of free sites and some nice Yahoo listings, and I always banked everything I made figuring "this could never last."

I 99 I met Sweet T of NationalNet and we hit it off. He offered me a job and I have been here ever since. :okthumb:

2002- semi-retired from the biz and went back to school. Earned a degree in pharmacy technology. Worked for a while and then taught while still doing adult, part-time.

2004 Met up with the people I'm now in partnership with and began planning for our new project.

2005- launched Depraved Dollars.
