It always feels weird to be back in front of a glowing screen after so long away. Good time and good biz, even though it feels like more than ten days worth of work stacked up while I was coming up with more great ideas for things for us to all be working on when I got back.

I liked The Venetian way better as a venue because it was so much easier to run into everybody. Plus, I was crutching around on a semi-healed broken ankle, so I was less mobile this year than usual. Seems crazy that we missed each other though. What is the next show you are going to?

yeah, it was more spread out, but I liked Mandalay Bay better, I seemed to get better service and love THEhotel.

My next show will be Phoenix

I was in Vegas from the 31st and I've always really liked the rooms at THE hotel, but the service seemed to get a lot less good once the convention started. It was like they just weren't ready for it.

The Venetian service this year was the variable sort that is par for the course there.

I'm running about 60% likely to go to Phoenix this year, although, speaking of hotels, the one last year sucked so bad that I checked out and checked into a different hotel like a day into it. Glad that is at a different location this year.

gads, if I had known you were here for New Year's Eve, you could have partied with us and enjoyed the fun of the power outage and my wife fainting amidst a huge, crushing crowd (I maintain she did it to get us through the crowd faster ) ;-)

well, if not Phoenix, then San Diego..beyond that, not sure what shows I'll be attending

I'll be in LA later this month meeting with an investor, maybe we can grab some lunch or something
