My advice applies to anyone you're contemplating doing business with, not this specific person. I also take very closely into account the source of the referral or the admonishment as well. :)

For what it's worth... Jeff has been good to me! Helped me out a lot with my site pineapplepink. He has been trading traffic with me, even though he sends me way more than I can return at this point.

I can say though... he was smart enough to see the potential of my site and is making money off it...
