I did change my nick once already in this biz. When I first started I was Nature Boy in recognition of the greatest professional wrestler of all time "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. But Vick already had that nick and people would get us confused so I changed it to one of my other favorite wrestlers "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson.

Not sure if I would have used a different name - although even though Kath is short for Kathleen (my middle name) - I for some reason get pissed when people call me Kathy. I don't know why.... lol

The funniest thing is when working with new clients or companies - I've had hotel/airline reservations made for me in the name of Kath Blackwell only to have to explain awkwardly that while I'm "her" that's not "me". :blink:

I guess maybe I would have just picked a non-name name to avoid the confusion.

MY nick is simple, basically an edit of my middle name, truthfully, if I where to change it I would just go by my real first name and screw the nick altogether. I'm not shy about who I am or what I do and It's a hell of a lot less confussing to just go my your real name.

At a few of the shows I have started to just Go by Cory here and there, slowly moving to it. I have to keep eddie around cause of the sites etc but eventually it will go away.

I can't tell you how many times I have been talking to a group of people as "Eddie" when all of a sudden someone I know from someplace else comes up and starts in with Hey Cory! Then I have to go and explain that yes I'm really Cory but my bussiness freinds call me Eddie yada yada.
