I'm going to stop driving or leaving my house because there are assholes outside.

I'm also going to stop watching TV because some of the ads are annoying.

Yeah, but imagine if you everytime you parked your car in a parking lot, the owner of the store could run out and automatically program you car to then only go to stores he/she owned.

You could go home until you either got out, disassembled the car and put it back together again, or took it to a shop that kept it overnight and inspected every nut and bolt.

I would get a better car. One with locks on it.

This is one of the reasons I use a Mac and not a PC. No worms, no spywear, no virus, no getting your browser hijack.

Not to start any kind of OS religious debate but you did bring up the point that you can do bad things to PCs.

Microsoft has a windows update free anti spyware download.. It is light, doesnt hog up ram like norton or other programs, and doesn't let anything by. I cant even sneak anything by it intentionally. IT has automatically removed my google toolbar twice, and i installed that:)

Some of those things really DO work well!

In addition to other various programs that I use, Norton seems to be the most aggressive with regard to toolbars... I keep downloading the Google toolbar only to have it "disappear" in about 3-4 days every single time. lol

Nice to know it's working.... but frustrating that I have to keep reinstalling. <_<
