We are thinking of moving and this is one of the spots that may end up being home. Is there cable internet? Do they have indoor outhouses? Anything I should know about the place?

I heard from a reliable source you were the one on the scene to ask.

Wig and I both live here and SweetT has a house the next town up :)

Yes, you can get high speed access, cable, etc. as long as you're in the right place :awinky: I'm sure there are areas that DON'T have it but Wig and I both do.

All plumbing is indoors (unless you're out hiking or on the lake and REALLY have to go....) but you might have a well and not city/county water. My neighborhood has its own water system.

No natural gas here that I know of - just propane.

We have Walmart, Lowes, and more and more stores and restaurants are being built - much to my dismay :(

Come fast as the property values are jumping.

And if you want a little log cabin on a couple of acres of land, let's talk - I want to move further away :)

It's not a good house for a family :( It was built as a vacation home and is basically all open.

Raw land not in a development can be had for around $11K an acre on the low side. If you're really interested, LMK - I have an AWESOME RE agent neighbor. :)

11k property and 5buck movies. This is like a time machine. Shit I bet a Harley costs more than a house. I can't even buy broomcloset for that around here.

I have no idea. What exactly is the problem, Sykk? Because I am amazed at how inexpensive property can be? I didn't even know movies were five bucks anymore. WTF is wrong with that?

As I said, that's raw land not in a development and it's the low end. We have property in my neighborhood on the market for $100K+ an acre.

Rhymer, I'm sure you're already friends with him, so contact Ted Turner. Property in the midwest where he is can be had for as little as $200 an acre.

Why do you think Ted is my friend? Did someone tell you this peaches, or are you trying to spread a few more rumours like before? Just because I didn't know you could still buy property that cheap is not a freekin sin.

Depends :)

There are some in my neighborhood for under $200K and some with acreage for millions.

You could probably pick you up a trailer for less than $75K if you're interested :)

Really not THAT much difference in prices than a lot of Atlanta suburbs these days. Prices are going up fast though.

I am looking into some properties there. Quite inexpensive but I see LOTS of trailers on wooded lots. Eeek...

Maybe if I put in an inground pool it will make up for the tin roof. Looks nice out there though. Probably just as cheap to build a house from the foundation up eh? It's looking nicer and nicer all the time.

4 Bedrooms would be superb. :)

I can't even buy broomcloset for that around here.
so how much is a house in neverneverland?
OK, Grimm. I'll bite. How much is a house in neverland?

I am looking into some properties there. Quite inexpensive but I see LOTS of trailers on wooded lots. Eeek...

Maybe if I put in an inground pool it will make up for the tin roof. Looks nice out there though. Probably just as cheap to build a house from the foundation up eh? It's looking nicer and nicer all the time.

4 Bedrooms would be superb. :)
But the key question is, do they serve scrapple there ? [/b][/quote]
If not I will have it shipped in from Virginia. :inlove:

People are starting to buy the trailers and having them carted off so they can have the land. There are some laws about it, so check first. But there's really plenty of land w/o doing that.

The two zip codes here are 30540 and 30536 if you want to check realtor.com

Blue Ridge is a bit north. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy property there instead of Ellijay.

If you decide to build, talk to Wig.

Nick,

Rhymer owns this site

ffstockings.com

His wife is Julia.

By all accounts he makes a modest living from this business.

He can be a hell of a dick , sometimes he makes valid contributions , but mainly it seems he is a dick.

Nick. You know, sometimes a little professionalism is called for. That is only one among many. But apart from that, if I wanted to post my site addy I would. There is a reason I don't. Nothing to do with folks in the business, but I do retail. A magician does not reveal his tricks, nor do his colleagues. That is just downright uncool. The general public see one thing, the trade sees another. After all your years of experience, I would have thought you would have known this.
Just like I would not post your home address on this board, I would expect the same courtesy.

LOL again your twisted mind has it all backwards LOL

1.) I would never insult a woman like Sabby she does what SHE wants, and is successful at it. and I have all the respect in the world for strong independent women that live their life the way THEY choose too.

The insult was directed at a low life loser like you, that has to resort to having his wife do the work ( or sucking) while he sits at the hardware store. in order to keep the electric bill on makes his wife go suck another guys dick hmmm tell me again what books I should read? you see there is nothing wrong with females sucking cock.. ( god love em for it too!!) what is wrong is a 50 cent pimp that thinks he has game, cause his old lady is a whore... that is just pathetic, context in life is everything rhymer ( you can buy a book to read on it I hear tell)

2.) I AM A NEWBIE!!! so no need to act like something I am not, so as far as the who is whom part . People are who and what they are for a reason, I guess that is why people respect them. or in your case... don't respect them..

and I am sure my mother sucked plenty of cock in her day, however one thing I know is she chose to , and not some appalachain inbred fuckstain profiting from it, and forcing her to do it so he could eat a little scrapple one day !!!

You have no idea of what respect I have and for what reasons. You have no guage of success. You just insult with no substance. You will never make it being a sycophant which is all I see at the moment. So far your only opinions are cut and paste. You need to grow beyond that before you can insult with authority.
