In another thread I have been told to stay clear of sex.com.

What about buying traffic from TGPs?

Is it worth it buying spots from worldsex , the hun , shemp?

In the past I actually did very well with the hun , but I'm talking 1999.

I think TGP traffic is the worst of the worst.
I do not believe that this is a viable traffic option for anything other than inflating the numbers of hits a site recieves.
If I am wrong, then who here has any accurate information on conversions from TGP traffic?

I think that this is the absolute worst threat to our industry ( next to payment processing issues) This free porn phenomenoe is going to be the cause of new reagulations in 2005 I believe.

Other than creating inflated traffic numbers, and allowing people to keep their true good traffic while trading out their shitty traffic to others, in order to appease the masses and the politically correct. What is the GOOD use of the traffic from surfers who are looking for free stuff? Unless you need the raw numbers to misinform the other guy.

play with the tgp's yourself. If they have no trade turned on, the traffic is viable. Jay has no trade. Click the thumbs several times and you can roughly asses the trade settings. The higher the setting, the worse the traffic IMO.

There eventually comes a time when you "have" to deal with TGP traffic I think - the margins will obviously be lower than other purchased traffic but hopefully the volume will make up for the difference.

I've been cautiously looking at gallery spots for awhile...just hesitant to take the jump cause I know shit about that traffic. If the traffic is there (non hitbot/chinese, etc.,) it'll convert with something...finding what it converts with/how to market the product to that audience is the tricky and potentially expensive part.

Now, I'll just wait and watch to see where you lose your ass with gallery spots and make my job easier.

I'm in the midwest Vick - but travel here and there for family things. I mentioned before I go to Orlando a couple times a year for family. Mebbe we could set up a shindig in Tampa with MikeAI if we can work out the schedules.
